Professor Tenure is the nicest professor I've had at St. Joseph's. She's so passionate about Sign Language that she truly makes an effort for everyone to learn it. I definitely reccomend taking her SPC112 class. It's a 3 hour class but she only keeps you for 2. It's a fun 2 hours. Take it!

Professor Tenure is so sweet! I really enjoyed learning sign language with her- but don't read the assigned book unless you want to. She doesn't test you on it..even if she says she's going to..she doesn't.

Taught a lot about deaf culture. I wish my school offered a sequence so I could learn more ASL. I think she would be a great person to learn from. One major project and a few medium-size ones but nothing too bad. Be prepared or it will be obvious. I definitely recommend Intro to ASL with this professor.

Great teacher, great class. You will need to do a story telling project, author grab bag, group presentation, card catalog, poetry calendar, internet treasure hunt. The class is fun and interesting. Projects are somewhat time consuming but interesting and fun. You get some great ideas for teaching in this class. I highly recommend taking her class!

Prof. Tenure was wonderful. Lot of projects, but easy and you will learn from them. Start early they are time consuming. If you put the time in you will do very well in this class. She is a sweet, caring, and understanding lady. Very knowledegable and loves literature. Definately take her!
