She is a really nice prof. she can be a little bit tough with grading and make sure to read notes and always always take notes no matter what she puts on the board, just write it down. it will help you a lot on your midterm and test. Final is pretty tough a lot of writing, but final is fair.

Super nice lady, but lecture notes were taken straight from the textbook company and she jumped all over. Specifically stated things would not be tested, yet they were a large portion of the final. She messed up marking the midterm and some assignments, yet was trying to avoid fixing it. Overall, it was a messy experience for a nice lady.

Nice lady, awful teacher. She was extremely hard to understand with her accent, very unclear of what was going to be on the final, and she made the class incredibly boring. The midterm wasnt marked properly and she didnt want to give out any marks for things that were actually marked wrong.

Awful. Didn't hand any assignments back after marking as well as being unclear on expectations for the assignments.

Ann is a great professor. She is extrememly smart, however she does go into a bit of detail with certain concepts and I had a tough time with one concept, however she agreed to meet with me to go over it outside of lecture and she was very VERY helpful! She is also very considerate of students who want to do research with her! I Highly recommended!

Comment:
Ann very hypocritical. Doesnt care at ALL about her student especially women. She got jealous from women seriously. Ive never understood what is required from me and when i go and ask her she literally refuse. AND ON MY FINAL EXAM SHE FORGOT TO MARK A QUESTION FOR ME WORTH 10 MARKS AND I DISCOVERED BY ACCIDENT. SHE IS THE WORST TEACHER Ever.

Anne is a super nice teacher and really knows her stuff, and will help to explain difficult material. However, lectures can be hard to maintain focus on and test material is a little scattered.

I adore Ann. You might not feel like you are learning as much as you should be at times, but Ann helps you build lasting knowledge, not temporary memorization. Such respect for her as a person and a professor. You have to open your mind to her way of teaching and you will absorb a lot more (permanently) than in other classes.

considering it was her first time ever teaching biochem, i think ann did a decent job. she's really straightforward, so just read the notes and the text. the final exam had a lot of the exact same questions as the review questions given in class.

Like what other people said, very nice person, but not a very good teacher. Lags on the simple things and skims over the harder things, and it would be better to use the textbook to get a better understanding for those things than ask. Confusing tests; I aced the midterm but almost failed the final, even though I studied much harder for it.

Goes into great detail about simple concepts, skims over complicated topics. Wastes a lot of class time talking about herself, then panics and rushes through without really explaining anything. HORRIBLE educator. Won't learn anything from lectures but study the textbook as her tests are very difficult but fair.

Ann was a different teacher than what I was used to. Her tests and quizes are composed of multiple choice from a test bank and long answered questions from class. To do well, study the online multiple choice and long answer questions from the text. Believe me, you will thank me for this advice. Heavily rely on the online testing materials!

Ann's attitude towards the class is extremely unprofessional. She needs to take things less personally and to just teach. She is passionate about her subject but not a very good lecturer. If you attend class she notices and will mark your work less hard. Also, you can go to her office after you get a test back and argue for a better grade.

WORST hypocritical professor I've EVER had! She randomly yells @ students for not being prepared when she's never prepared herself! She doesn't cover any test material in class and just expects you to know it, not to mention that she takes marks off for bad grammer (when she can't even formulate a complete coherent sentence)!
