He is very well organized and follows the syllabus. Lectures are clear, following a strict plan, which reinforces previous material and lead students carefully into day's new topics. He expects and prepares students to write college level essay responses. His feedback is fair and constructive. The tests are not difficult if you do the work.

Really nice guy. Good teacher. Somewhat tough tests and material however. Used textbooks a lot. Come to class, take notes, and study for tests (20 mc worth 40 pts and 2 essays out of 4 prompts worth 30 pts each) and an A is possible

His World Religions class was definitely my favorite class, which I took for IGETC Humanities requirement. The tests are only based on what he goes over in class, and he does a GREAT job explaining things. He drops 5 of 15 quizzes (one easy question + open book) and 3 of 4 tests (matching + 2 short essays). No HW. Some reading. Smart, awesome guy.

What can I say, he's a great professor! Loved the class, he has interesting perspective, reading is a bit hard but do-able. Definitely recommend the class. It was very informative in my opinion. Assigns no essays. Tests and quizzes are easy as long as you do the reading. That's the only hw he gives, reading which is good :)I'd take the class again!

Personally I'm a mythology freak so I found his lectures pretty interesting. Still, he's friendly and very helpful. Quizzes are just general questions based on the assigned readings. Exams are mixed of multiple choices and short essays. Come to class, take notes, and read the material, you will be fine. Recommend. He's a good professor.

Awesome teacher that explains concepts thoroughly. Gives out a study guide and an outline of the readings. A lot of reading with quizzes, but you can always find the stories online. Tests are based off lectures. A university-quality professor and knows what he's talking about and tries to answer your questions. Very interesting class. I recommend.

Took 103 and 106 with prof N. Tests are based strictly on notes taken from lectures, write everything down!! Tests are essay form, short answer and in 106 2 are mc. He drops 1 of 5. Very helpful if you just ask. Attendance is mandatory. You will have success if you come to class, pay attention and take GREAT notes! There is also plenty of reading.

A lot to read, but if you find interest in the subject and make the effort you'll do well. Naschak is very smart and has a great, organized method of teaching in an objective way. He gives you all of the handouts, so you can pay attention in class.Very passionate about subjects. Would definitely take him again.

Not for the lazy. He belongs at a University, not a community college. Be prepared to study and study if you want a good grade. You must go to class and pay attention. A lot of test material comes from his lectures. If you like a challenge and are on the bright side you'll love this professor. He loves his subject and is very knowledgeable

Good teacher. Assignments are writing intensive and he is a very difficult graded but that is because there are no tests. He is very fair and gives everyone a chance. If you ask for help or advice he gives you more then enough. He does mention some of his own political views which I could have done without but otherwise very good.

Perhaps the best instructor on campus. His class is well-structured, his lectures are delivered in a lucid fashion, his anecdotes are appropriate, and the topics selected are terrific. Class is seen by many as difficult, but if you've passed English 205 (or are otherwise capable), do the readings, and take care to absorb his teaching, a B is easy

This teacher is one of my favorites! He's really passionate about his subjects and anyone who thinks he's hard is an idiot. All you need to do is keep up on the readings and pay attention to his lectures now and then. Essays easy too as long as you pay attention to what you read and hear. Made me want to take his World Religions class.

Mr. Naschak is a really great teacher, he is very helpful and he always tries to help everyone succeed in his class. I passed the class by paying attention to his lectures and using the study guide, but the book is needed for some stories you have to read cause he might ask about them on the tests, he is really awesome! definitely taking him again!

I really enjoyed this class...he's kinda monotone but the quality and quantity of the information being taught makes up for that. This class is very interesting and gives you a new perspective on religion. He lectures the whole class, shows slides, and allows the class to participate in discussions about topics. Required text for the class isn't re
