Comment:

Batalha is an AWESOME professor. She is passionate about what she does and she is extremely intelligent. I had a lot of issues in the beginning of the semester (Im not a science/math brain) but by the end of the semester, with Batalha's help, I was recieving As on all the quizzes. Quizzes at most once a week (only about 15 questions each).

She is very nice.She takes extra interest in her students.Her tecahing and hardwork is all impressive more as she performs her duty as a mother,wife and then travels far to be a prof.I wish to find woman like her: Intelligent,cute,hardworking and down to earth at the same time.

"she's not exactly hot, but has that oddly attractive librarian thing going on, hard to explain." Haha true. Fun labs, class only 1/week. Very sweet n genuine teacher but didn't exactly teach the labs to us.. we had to do it on our own unless we asked for help. But I guess thats how it is for all labs? BEWARE!..she takes long to respond to emails!!

This class was amazing! Batalha is one of the best professors i've ever had... she actually TEACHES the material. Very interesting, approachable, and fair. Tests were decently hard. Go to her office hours or after class for any help ever, but go to class as all of the test questions are from her lectures.

Extremely hard for a GE class. She is very helpful and an excellent teacher, but sometimes she analyzes concepts too far and kind of kills it. Homework assignments have a wacked out grading scale. The "test review" only covers about half of what is actually going to be on the test. Class would be better for an Astro major. Great teacher though!

I came into her class loving physics, and left hating it. Her teaching style is power point and it is unclear and boring. She is unable to answer simple questions, its as if she doesn't even know the material she teaches.

Take her if you're looking for an easy professor... no tests, just quizzes. Do ALL your homework and you will do fine in her class. If you want to understand the material, you MUST learn it on your own. Her lectures are nothing close to the homework and quizzes. She tries really hard to make sure everyone understands though.

Prof. Batalha is the best teacher I ever had. I am a reentry student taking this class for the second time and I am finaly getting it. Study the quizzes and take good notes. I am getting a B in a subject I thought I hate.

Wonderful professor. I highly recommend her b/c she is very clear and extremely caring. She tries very hard and it shows. Her quizes are based on hwk and her exams are based quizes. She's one of the best out there.

Attend class, do the HW, study the PPT slides for exams, and you should pass easily. Curves grades at very end. Got a B+ when I deserved a C+. Despite what everyone says, she IS NOT hot! Her smarts make her more hot than she physically is.

Great teacher! Her tests are easy as long as you do not skip a class! Physics is one of those classes that you really can't skip, cause if you do you'd be lost, especially if ur slow with math already. If you need to take Physics 2A class, I recommend u take Natalie Batalha! Easy on grades, too!
