Awesome professor and is great with explaining everything during her lectures. Only CS1073 prof that hands out practice questions/examples that are VERY helpful for midterm and especially the exam. Do all of them 2 or 3 times.

Wonderful professor, very easy to understand and gives a ton of examples and hand outs for practice which is very useful on tests. I would recommend her to anybody new to programming.

Nathalie is a very good and caring professor. That said, she will expect you to show up to all of your classes and for you to put a lot of work towards the course. She is a tough Grader but will usually give you good feedback and is easily approachable. If you put a lot of effort into what you do, you will love this teacher!

She marks very hard on easy concepts. I emailed her about my team members contributions and she sent the email to my team. Doesn't answer any questions in emails and is very hard on people that miss class even for good reason. I asked to meet with her and she wouldn't answer.

A very good choice if you are unfamiliar to programming. Natalie explains VERY thoroughly and goes over important topics multiple times. If you are new to programming you will have lots of opportunities to clearly learn new ideas and apply them. If you have experience programming you may be bored as many topics are covered a few times. Great notes!

I found that she talked to us like we were small children. Her lectures were unbelievably boring, I found it almost impossible for me to pay attention in class, and plus the fact that class is mandatory made it even worse. This prof is why I decided to switch my major.

Comment:
Natalie is a knowledgeable, but dull professor. Her slides, lectures, and examples are all so boring. She makes it easy for first time programmers, maybe too easy. I can't imagine anyone putting effort into CS1073 and failing. Her insistence on mandatory attendance and tutorials is a pain. She can't lecture to save her life.

Very organized, a little too repetitive but more practice is always better. Will get angry and maybe even throw you out if you are a minute late. Lots of help available outside class. Final was easy/fair, be sure to practice GUI button examples. Textbook unnecessary, assignments require math skills and research, practice practice practice.

Respected Professor @ UNB. She's intelligent, and willing to answer questions. Easily accessible outside of class time (usually in her office or the CSA lounge). Participate & try assignments on your own? She'll bend over backwards to help you. Heads the CSA and is very active in Student Life. Very pleasant to meet. DON'T SKIP CLASS.

Natalie is easily my favorite professor in CS. Everything she teaches is clear and she knows the subject area well. She is super patient with students who don't have previous programming experience and explains things well. She is also involved in every event you will go to and is by far one of the most approachable prof's.

Natalie could probably teach java to a five year old or a particularly smart monkey. A great choice if you have no prior experience with programming; class might be a little slow if you do, but is still super helpful for solidifying your basics. Genuinely a very friendly and involved prof who is easy to approach and easy to get in contact with.

Once again, Natalie impresses with her introduction of new and potentially-difficult topics in a clear and concise way. She's easy to talk to, happy to help students who need it, and patient when students ask old questions after they've fallen behind. For most students, though, she is just a great teacher.

Natalie is the best choice for students new to programming. She knows the subject matter really well, and is excellent at introducing concepts that can be hard to grasp at first. Programming isn't something that comes particularly hard to me, but I still found Natalie's lectures to be quite helpful.

Beware of her course. She doesn't explain things well, gave no warning as to what types of things would be on the final, only prof to not offer a review or a tutorial for the exam. Failed over 70% of her student, and she doesn't consider grading on a curve. Still waiting on my exam mark

Good prof. Clearly knows the material well. Only problem I had was some things were dragged on too long and others were not focused on enough. But that is a personal opinion. Friendly and very clear spoken.
