Nestor Rodriguez is currently at UT Austin. He has been my favorite professor in the sociology department by far. His research and teachings are very fascinating and he really gets you thinking about his studies. Highly recommend but make sure you do not skip class or you will miss a lot of important verbal info on the exams!!

Half the time he let us out early. We made up 1/2 the test. He has plenty of stories to tell and pictures to show. It was an honor to be lectured by him. Great teacher.It's too bad that Dr.Rodriguez has decided to go to the U T. Leaving U of H for good. Keep up with the readings and put a lot of effort into the research paper.12-14 pgs

GOOD TEACHER! Easy to understand. Can get boring from time to time BUT... very easy and helpful. Can get very interesting and funny and also hilarious! it was only on Saturday for 3 hours! BUT u DO NEED NEED the BOOK. READ THE CHAPTERS and YOU CAN SKIP HIS CLASS! i got an A after half and half attending and skipping. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Prof very nice. Make sure that you keep up with the readings in the 3 textbooks required for the class. He let us make up questions for the tests....for the "final", he used almost all the questions we had submitted to him. I took the class during summer I...still had to write a 12 page paper. Loved him!

very entertaining guy, really makes class fun. we made up 20 questions for a 40 question test... that cant be too difficult to pass. main goal is for students to learn something so he shows slide shows to relate lectures to real life events
