Rahim is difficult. He is hard to understand, and does not know how to explain things clearly. He is also very scatterbrained and doesn't teach in a clear and easy to understand order. He makes you feel dumb for asking questions, so I never did. If you come to class though, you earn lots of brownie points and attempt every homework.

Do not take this class with him. I studied a lot for each test and still didn't do well in the class. You will need a financial calculator too. He is somewhat helpful but it's basically you asking the 3 students that are actually getting the information for help.

Dr. Rahim was the worst professor I've ever had. I took him for Corporate Finance (St. Leo) and was so happy to get a C. He teaches on a level that is above everyone in the class. He acts like we are all Finance Majors. His test are very difficult and reviewing didn't help. AVOID HIM IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR GPA TO SUFFER!!! Good Luck if you take him

Dr. Rahim knows a lot about the topic of investing. Sometimes he will not understand the question you are asking and think you are asking something else and never answer it, other times he looks at you like you're dumb for not knowing. All in all however, tests sometimes throw curveballs but he's a pretty straight forward guy. Attend class!

Great professor. He knows his stuff and does a fine job of passing that knowledge on to students. I enjoyed his side stories about suicide and stock crisis, adds humor to a subject that can be mundane. Have to work for your grade because he will grade rough.

If finance is your thing, you'll do great in the class. If not, study hard. He gives you a review guide for his quizzes but the quiz always has some extras that you don't know because it wasn't on the review. Tests are strictly problems and can be hard depending on subject. On the bright side, he can be entertaining and is extremely helpful!

This teacher is the worst by any means. He doesnt speak English well. His grammar is not comprehensible sometimes. He tells you to ask questions but looks at you like your dumb when you do. No help at all when you ask for help on test. IF YOU TAKE HIM YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Took him over the summer. He's a nice enough guy and can explain things well if you ask, but he teaches a hard topic and doesn't really make it easy. Tests are very difficult, but reviews helped. Can be boring, but sometimes jokes around when he sees the entire class is bored.

Dr. Rahim is very knowledgable about financial information. He really wants you to succeed in your class and even though the material is hard he will do everything he can to get you to understand. Some people complain about his accent, but apart from occasionally placing emphasis on a different vowel than we're used to, its a nonfactor.

Good professor. He knows not everyone doesn't understand the material, so he's willing to spend time on a specific subject to make sure you understand. Still gives a study session and spends class time to go over test material. Not as humorous as he was in BUSN 323. It's nice talking to him about investment advice.

Rahim is a nice guy, very funny. Problem is the material is very hard. Despite what people say, the tests are EXACTLY like the homework. To Ace the class do each homework assignment and learn how to use the formulas. Finance is not easy, but again, Rahim is a nice guy.

"Director of Potent Potables" Loves Alcohol.Goes thru course material VERY FAST. Assigns/collects HW daily, easy grade.But his tests are difficult to say the least.Gives you an equation sheet but you have to know how to use the equations to get other equations not on the sheet. 1 word: tricky!
