Taught the class as if we were 8 years old. The most ridiculous part is, this is the easiest/most common sense subject to the point where it's actually a joke. Yet he tries to make it seem like rocket science by docking points off for no reason. He legit spent 2 hrs on a definition explaining verbs/articles. Livid that my tuition $ goes towards him

Before you enroll in this class, please take note of this. He will lecture the class like they are in elementary school. You will not be trusted to use a laptop. He will show you that miracles do happen because for some reason he has a phd. The best thing about this class is that he sets the bar so low EVERY professor you have after will be better

First time I've ever been harassed/humiliated/targeted from a "professor". I felt like a 6th grader in his class from his elementary teaching criteria. Don't buy book, if your defs. are not word for word from his lectures you won't get credit, & even if you do word4word, it will depend on how much he "likes" you. He is a truly disgusting human.

He is THE WORST professor/mentor/man I have ever met in my life. He is unfair, biased, rude, condescending, disrespectful to everyone in the classroom. He shows favoritism to a few students based on their nationality, gender, or race even if they are not the brightest. You can try your hardest to get that A but if he doesn't like you then good luck

Wastes a lot of time by asking students for definitions before he gives them to us. One test, midterm, supposedly accumulative final. He never gave us the full class time for any of the tests and they have short answer questions (you better write what he wants). There is a group presentation + 12 paper paper, you have to interview people.

This professor is the epitome of a person who did not know what to do with his life; thus recurred to teaching as a last resort! He tells you to buy a $200 book you never once use, expects you to answer test questions verbatim, expects perfect attendance or threatens to lower your grade. He is an insensitive, single minded individual. AVOID HIM!!!!

He is by far THE WORST professor Ive ever taken, It was my first quarter at Cal Poly and this professor just made EVERYTHING hard for no apparent reason, He didnt let you use your laptop to take notes and he would call you out when youre late to class, Study the slides like they are written from god cause he thinks having a Phd allows for that

The tests are difficult, and somehow everyone does poorly. The essay questions must be word for word how he defines the topic or it is wrong. Bases about 60% of the class on a single film. Kinda hard to understand, so pay attention. Group project really demanding. Showed some ounce of mercy at the end, and offered a little help on the final.

By far the worst professor I have ever had! Not only is it difficult to understand what he is saying, he is very rude to all his students. Forget about class participation, he shoots down any & all answers. The tests are multiple choice & essay questions that require you to memorize the whole book. And after the test he makes you stay for lecture.

Terrible instruction. I graduated Cal Poly and this class was the only class I ever received a bad grade in. HE IS TERRIBLE!! Hard to understand and he shuts students down when they try to explain their ideas. He has a hard time explaining what he means. This professor was insulting. Just because one has a Phd doesn't mean you should teach!
