If you haven't taken this woman yet, WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?!?! TAKE HER, you will NOT regret it! Learned so much from her. The book is only for the open-book midterm and final. Best class I have ever taken out of all my years at Kean University. Dr. Bowe, you changed my life and I will forever be grateful!

This woman is a real gem. Take her classes. I took her during the summer of my senior year and I wish I had known about her sooner. She is inspiring and loves her job(s) and students. Her classes are about important topics and make you a well rounded individual. The work load was small and I learned SO MUCH. Have any free electives? TAKE HER CLASS.

This woman is absolutely amazing. Out of all four years that I have attended Kean University, she has been one of my favorites. She's so inspirational and genuinely cares about all of her students! On top of that, she is so smart and inspirational and teaches the material in a way that you will be interested in learning it, and remember it.

I just had her & I really didn't know what to expect, but I have learned so much & my mind has truly opened. Even though this class is far from my major or interest, it was such an incredible experience. Dr Bowe is passionate & motivating in her teachings. Her kindness really glows & I found her to be more than just a professor: SHE IS A MENTOR.

Dr. Bowe is the most amazing professor I've ever had. She cares about each and every one of her students, genuinely. Her classes are all extremely interesting and her field trips are great. Dr. Bowe is an AMAZING professor. I had her for Death in Perspective. I loved that class. Dr. Bowe sets up field trips to a funeral home, cemetery, northern state prison, hospice center, and medical examiners office. She uses these to teach and every class I learned something. I am now majoring in funeral service because of how much I loved it.

Dr. Bowe is such an inspirational and caring person who has changed the lives of numerous people. Taking both of her courses community mental health and death in perspective has opened my ideals and perspectives on life, along with everything we take for granted. This is the best teacher I have ever had. She cares about every student and knows her stuff. The trips were grade. She gives an assignment every class but there were the most useful assignments I have ever done. If you are lucky enough to take her, do it. She's the best.
