Very helpful in her office hours, lets you use your textbook in exams & explains really well. 2327 is similar to an engineering class, so it takes a bit of researching to understand. She's not very joyful, but lectures have great explanations !

she just solve the problems in the book without any good explanation. midterm was easy but the rest after that was hard and she never gives the students the keys of solving the coding or problems. final exam was out of 55 which make you depressed.

Dr. Linney does not know how to teach. While I have no doubt that she has a full understanding of the material she is supposed to be teaching, she is simply incapable of explaining it to another human being. However, the course is quite easy, so as long as you can decipher her unclear and confusing questions, you should have no problem getting an A

Very good prof. Digital logic was a pretty boring course but she was always willing to help.hard to pay attention in class so office hours were really helpful.Very nice woman, a bit boring but overall she was a good prof to me

She can't teach, plain and simple. Spending 3minutes on wikipedia you will learn more then 3 weeks in her classes. She lacks the ability to communicate with her students and answer simple questions that fall off her extremely set overhead slide plan. If you can avoid her do so. If you can't try taking the class when she is gone or at DAL.

Dr.Linney does not speak loudly enough. When I go for help, her answers are not direct but a little bit beat-around-the-bush. She's friendly but prepares uninteresting lectures. She uses overheads and not powerpoints even tho she's a CS prof. MORE STIMULATION PLEASE.

Dr. Linney has worked really hard for her students over the years and it has really really really shown. I think she is doing a very good job and would most definitely take another course with her. She's very friendly too when you speak with her one on one, and has a great sense of humour! Two thumbs up!
