If you have an amazing, photographic memory, you will do well in this course. You better be able to type 100 wpm, otherwise, you miss the slides on the overhead and you need every word for tests and exams! She is very unreasonable and finicky the way she marks tests so MEMORIZE!! If you take this course, be prepared to STUDY!

I'm amazed at the students who praise her, and can only conclude those were students she decided were good enough to favor, as she does this a lot. She covers way too much material at an insane pace. I type faster than average and could not keep up. You better be taking ONLY this course or have an amazing memory.

Has obvious favourites, is rude to people who are not her favourites. Is NOT whatsoever clear on any explanations for any type of project even after being asked many times for clarification. Is very picky as to what she wants on tests, papers and presentations. I do NOT recommend this prof, avoid her classes at all cost. I learned the hard way.

This professor almost made me switch my entire career plan. If you do not need her, do not take her! She is not receptive to any feedback on her teaching methods and will make you feel like an idiot if you are struggling in her classes! Overall she is not pleasant.

unrealistic expectations that this class takes up ALL a students time. She does not give clear explanations and gets mad at the students for questioning her. She won't let you finish writing the 1000's of long drawn out sentences on her slides so get ready and learn how to write short hand notes if you take this class. She provides NO resources.

This is the worst professor at BU. She provides a disrespectful learning environment and is a bad teacher. Do not take this class with this professor, most people do very poor. Take this class with another professor.

Worst prof I've ever had. Rarely follows the text, ridiculous test grading scheme (.5 marks per point on 4 mark "short answer" questions), uses definitions from the 70s making modern definitions "wrong" in her eyes, rude and unclear in explanations, talks quickly (need a laptop since notes won't be in text). If you don't need her, DONT TAKE HER!

Dr. Edguer was extremely kind toward all her students. However, I found that she had a lot of tough material on biological terms and info in psychology courses, even though biology is not a prerequisite. If you do take a class with her, you will have to study really hard, but she treats all students with respect and is always open for questions.

I took her abnormal psych class first then intro to bio psych. She is a very nice person and genuinely cares abut her students. Honestly taking her classes taught me how to study better. Basically study everything especially test notes i only used textbook for clarification & if she couldn't cover something in class. Work hard don't procrastinate!

Tough class. She expects endless amounts of detail in your short answer questions on tests. The M/C are tough too. Nice lady though who is very knowledgeable in psychology. Reading the textbook helped me a lot in the class. She has in-class assignments worth marks so make sure to attend all classes to get some easy marks!

One of my favourite profs! But an extremely hard marker. Once you get used to all the details she wants though, you can pull off an A. If you need someone to talk to, you can always talk to her, she is wonderful. I kept taking her classes because I liked her, not necessarily how hard I had to study!
