Very innovative teacher : uses numerous problem sets to walk you thru math intensive theory and provides sample computer programmes to help students with their papers. 80% start intimidated by quatitatives but end up admiring his effectiveness. He keeps you on your toes but magically empowers you to simulate any macro or micro model you want!

The man is a economics genius as well as a vanguard of the internet. He was requiring submissions by email back when you had to be a computer geek to know what electronic mail was. You have to WANT to understand him; not just be there for the class. He maintains a webpage posted with papers from students which is really informative.
