Very open and communicative, course material highly useful in 'the real life.' Course assumes you've had substantial experience with at least one database program, but not specifically one kind: groups comprised of students with different backgrounds/strengths will have trouble. Otherwise one of the best courses/teachers at WPI.

Best MIS class I ever took. She is by far the most influential prof in the department and will go far above other profs to help students. She truely cares about the students and that they learn the material.
