Ok, I've had Dr. Feltus twice. In 350 (now 251), if you read the book, you could pass quizzes and tests easily, but had to work harder on the Quickbooks hw. In 327, you could almost get away with memorizing everything. His quizzes were often similar to his in-class handouts. You should probably read the book though. And attendance - sign the sheet!

Not a great teacher, but fortunately not so hard. He often goes off subject with stories, which gets pretty stale. The most fun I had with this class is learning how to use QuickBooks and doing the QuickBooks lab assignments, because I expected AIS to be like this. Prepare for quizzes, mid-term exam, and final exam (mostly based on textbook).

Despite the fact that this was not an online course, the majority of the actual learning takes place outside of the classroom. Feltus is full of great stories, but often spends class time telling them as opposed to teaching. I do not feel as if I should have to go to a class and pay for a professor to "teach" me if all of the work is computerized.

I absolutely HATE Accounting, but Feltus did teach it very well, and made it a lot less painful than it could've been. Any ACC major can learn quite a bit from him. There is a lot of opportunities for credit in this class. Take every chance you get!

he's a good teacher but very boring. he likes to tell you these stories that end up taking up about 10 minutes of class and then keeps you to the very last minute. We do practice problems in class and then we have homework over those problems and a quiz as well which is as as long as you go to class and pay attention. lots of extra credit available

Good professor. Goes over everything in class very well. What he goes over in class will be on the exam. It is important to go to class. He usually gives 2-4 homework problems from each chapter he goes over but only takes up one but doesn't tell you which one it will be. Gives study guides for exams.

my were deers in headlights. i took acc. because i was considering a business minorhe was kind in letting me make up tests when i had a family emergency, but he does treat people like they are stupid. that is not helpful when students feel lost or find the subject material hard. he knows his stuff, but man he also can make you feel like crap.

He told use that not many people do well in his class. He told us we were stupid and always assumed we were cheating. About half the class failed. He didn't answer my questions and treated others as if they were stupid if they asked any questions.
