This was the absolute worse class I ever had! Worse even than Physics: Electricity and Magnetism. Dr. A. muddles up even the easist concept, and makes it difficult. The exams were so hard I thought I was in a graduate math class! If you're looking for an technical elective to coast in DONT TAKE THIS CLASS! The text book was WORTHLESS too!

Pros: Always available after class for help, gives much flexibility on the project, 1 pg of notes (front and back) allowed on midterm (2 pgs on final). Cons: Class does NOT take place in a computer lab, rushed lectures, students must independently learn how to draw using any programming language for the project, no hands-on learning.

Easy class, but boring. You have to put up with him talking to himself most of the time. Shows what good the ARMY does to people even if they are just teaching.

Pretty simple class with pretty simple professor. No tests, just presentation and a final research paper. He's fair and not harsh at all, but maybe that's cause he's dealing with graduate students in this class. Loves to talk about his own research.

This guy is BAD. His tests take more than the time alloted. They tend to be computationally intensive as opposed to thinking or connecting the dots between concepts. Take him if you want to master one or specific mathematical techniques for a one thing.

Those who give Dr. Aboutalib poor marks for wanting to learn Computer Graphics and got math, are probably just computer gamers. This professor teaches the fundamental physics of light and optics and how to numericaly implement them. I now work for PIXAR.

Boring and dull class lectures. Funny, I thought I had signed up for a GRAPHICS class, not a math class. Do not recommend taking graphics (or so they say) with Aboutalib. You won't learn anything of any use.

Mind numbingly stupid class that could be more interesting with a professor such as Laguna, but Aboutalib is just overall a very poor lecturer; he's difficult to understand and likes to talk to the board while lecturing.
