She is a decent teacher. She knows her subject and she _does_ know how to teach. You pay attention in class, you'll be doing fine. Her accent is not bad at all. She appears to be harsh, but she's really being fair. Definitely would take any class with her again (she said she was retiring though).

I'm pretty sure most of the good comments on here are lies. Either that or her kid wrote them all. She said she was retiring. I guess she changed her mind when everyone kept complaining about her. She doesn't help her students, she puts them down and tries to embarass you in every possible way. Don't take this lady she isn't worth the money.

I liked her class. I took the Intro class first and will take her for Inorganic this semester. I didn't think her accent was bad, she was always understandable. I like how she would give lots of analogies to help us learn. She was organized in her presentation of the material and the quizzes and tests were hard but fair given what we covered in

WORST TEACHER EVER! In no way does she make the effort to help her students in need. She just likes to "assume" that you will do bad in the class and when that happens she'll say anything to make you feel dumb. Lady if you don't like helping your students then why the hell did you become a teacher?

she is one of the best professors you will ever take if you really want to learn. to be honest with you i dont like chemistry but she made me love it and thought me a lot. she is really experienced and knows everything about the student more than eny other professors. for example who would bring cookies to exams? really cool take her class trust me

Professor McDaniel is my mother. Although she can be a difficult teacher, she teaches the material well and genuinely cares about her students. If you come to class and pay attention you should do well. She will always be there to answer questions and she is very passionate about chemistry.You willl learn the material if you take this class.

DO NOT take her! On our first exam, only two people made A's! The majority of the class made C's or below. The only reason why most did so horrible is because she makes her students feel like idiots when we approach her with a question! She is passionate about the material she teaches, but lacks being compassionate towards her student.

I took her and while her accent doesn't get in the way, her broken english (after 22 years of teaching, even!) and the WAY she teaches... not at all helpful. She's there to ask questions to, but in the end, that doesn't help much if you don't already grasp the principles.
