If you need help or you don't understand something, Paco will always be willing to help. His lectures can be boring sometimes and all the work you do is online by yourself. But he's a great guy and if you are looking to be a Spanish major/minor you need to get to know him.

Paco is one of those professors you can tell really loves his job. He is so enthusiastic every day and cracks me up. At the beginning of the semester I would be so tired of focusing by the end of class because he does speak mostly in Spanish, but it gets easier. I definitely reccommend him.

Paco is an amazing teacher. Yes, he's a little hard to understand, but thats Spanish, if you want to learn to talk to native speakers, take this class. I learned a lot in this class (though most was a review from high school)and am happy to say that he is one of my teachers next semester. Great teacher great class. If you dont understand, ask him.

I really enjoyed taking Paco's class. He was willing to take the time if you needed more help. He was creative in the different ways to emerge your world into the Spanish speaking world. I would also recommend the Contemporarty Mexico class. I had so much fun learning and getting a first hand look at Mexico's culture.

I hardly felt challenged by Advanced Spanish I. Paco is a great person, but many days I felt the class was a waste of 50 minutes. A lot of busywork, but it is an easy A if you don't mind doing it. FYI though...he slurs his Spanish a lot and uses quite a bit of slang; it can make him very hard to understand sometimes.

I'm a Spanish minor, and it doesn't get much better than Paco. This man is an excellent professor. He's very lenient about assignments, due dates, etc. and tests are hard enough to challenge you, but easy enough for you to get good grades on. Also, when he speaks Spanish, he speaks Spanish. Talking with him is a great way to learn the language!

He's a nice guy and all, but I haven't learned hardly anything in there. He tries to keep things interesting, but sometimes it's hard to pay attention when he rambles in Spanish. He can be funny sometimes, but if go into one of his classes wanting to learn a great a lot, I'd suggest another teacher.
