Class was very interactive. Do not agree that we 'taught' the class--we summarized and then there was open discussions about the information. Sure beats the boring textbook powerpoints! I really enjoyed the class and Giraud is a great professor!

Giraud basically has her students teach the class by having everyone pair up and teach a chapter for an entire class, but puts her two sense in whenever she can. There are two pg assignments, one take home test, and quizzes throughout the semester. She's ok but not the greatest.

Extremely flaky. Doesnt't explain anything. No one understands what she wants. Preaches not leaving children in the dark; however does it with the final project. Contradicts herself constantly. Do not take. Nice woman.. bad teacher.

Doesn't teach anything. Talks about her family everyday. Has favorites. Doesn't explain the final assignment at all, which counts as a HUGE part of your final grade! Everything is extremely unclear, didn't come to last class to help us with our final project, and then took off for everything!

nicest teacher, gives small papers quizes and a few projects, nice to have more than just tests to base your grade on. Papers are not bad at all. She is there to help you if needed. I am taking her again for Measurement and eval since she was so nice. Tests and quizes are a bit tough though.

I loved this teacher...she has been my favorite teacher so far. Her assignments are good. She tells you exactly what she is looking for and as long as you follow that you will do fine in her class. I would recommend this class to anyone.
