Comment:

Pretty dry as far as lectures go, but he is very clear with what you need to know and what will be on the test. The practice problems are essentially the test with different numbers. If you ask for help he will give it to you. He sometimes has difficulty understanding what you are asking, but overall he is a good professor.

Comment:

Somewhat tough grader, but he curves the tests a lot and gives partial credit where deserved. He spends a majority of the classes going over textbook examples that are just like the tests. He's a really fast grader, but his tests can be difficult. The homework helps a lot (big part of grade). Doesn't take attendance but go to class. Nice dude.

It's WONDERFUL and AMAZING professor. Though he has an accent, but everything that he writes on the board and how he explains the material DOES MAKE SENSE. He is not taking attendance but it's important to attend the class in order to understand the material. He is friendly, kind, and VERY nice person. I enjoyed his class thought I don't like math

Hardest grader I've ever had. If you give him a good argument though he gives you some credit back. Also jumps around during lectures making it very hard to follow.

He's a nice guy, but he jumps around a lot during lecture and can be hard to follow. He also constantly says "this is easy/straightforward/obvious," which I didn't feel was always true. If you get a low test score and go to his office for help, he's sure to rub it in your face and state how easy the test was.

He is a very kind man and is willing to help, but there was something about the way he taught that I just didn't understand. (There were a lot of jumps in his examples that I was probably supposed to understand but didn't.) His accent isn't a problem and he's EXTREMELY interested in math and even more that you understand it.

Excellent teacher. Questions on tests get partial credit. Requires work be shown since calculators are allowed. Has both graded and ungraded homework which helps master the material. Go to office hours where he will work with you to ensure you have completely mastered the material.

Really really nice guy and wants you to do well in the class. Tests are pretty hard but he gives you formula sheets that he lets you write extra notes on and I suggest taking full advantage of this.

I am not in the least a math person, but in Dr. Khalili's class I got near 100's every test. I really like him as a teacher! He is SO helpful and wants everyone to understand the material. His tests are easy is you do the homework, study and pay attention in class. He offers extra credit every once in a while too! Just be a good student.

He is BRILLIANT and LOVES math but loves when his students understand the material even more. He explains everything in great detail and won't continue until you understand it. He outright says "this class is hard" but he is more than willing to help and if you do the work you will be just fine. His teaching style makes you learn not just memorize.

good teacher, nice guy, gives help if you need it, sometimes not necessary to go to class but review days are critical, he will tell you exactly what problems that are on the test, make sure you have all the equations, and know how to use them, tests are basically plugging numbers in

He's definitely one of the best math teachers I've ever had! His accent is so cute. I thought that it was going to be hard to understand at first, but actually he explains things so many times that it wasn't bad. His class was pretty hard, linear algebra so obviously, but he made it as fun and understandable as possible.
