Great Professor, VERY smart, knows his stuff. If you find the material overwhelming like I did, Don't worry he gives you sample tests before the midterm telling you only 10% of it will be on the test when in reality 95% of the sample test will be on the mid term. Memorize the answers and you will pass the theory portion no problem.

This class is giving me more work than me other 5 classes combines. A little bit extreme. He's way too into it and expects all of us to want to know everything about security. Class median is sitting at 62% as we speak. ZERO after completing assignments/labs if you do not include sources..Will I still be interested in the 3rd yr optional? Heck NO.

His powerpoints are a little extreme, Idon`t know if all the information is necessary. Endless quizzes, assignments which all require sources and labs that take 4 days to complete. Exams consisted of reading roughly 250 slides filles top to bottom, a lot with useless blabber. No longer interested in security. Thanks.

Pat has a way of making the hardest and dullest classes into something you wanted to attend. Took many broken bits of information and had us put them together to understand the PC system as a whole. Thanks to him, I am amongst the few who knows Enterprise level Linux distro's.
