Loved his classes. Took Basic stats and Survey Calculus with him. I opted to take him for Stats because he is clear to understand and his class is straightforward. Show up, pay attention, and you'll be fine. I would do about 5 of the homework questions and I was usually good for the test.

Would recommend. He is a great professor. He explains things so clearly and it is obvious he loves what he teaches. He is incredibly intelligent. His tests aren't hard as long as you show up to class and take notes.

I would definitely recommend taking Touhey for math. He's a good teacher if you pay attention and don't skip class. He gives some homework for you to understand the material better, but it's not mandatory. He also gives test reviews that are almost identical to the actual test. His class was very enjoyable.

Dr. Pat is an amazing teacher for Calculus however, he is very miserable yet funny as hell the same time. There are only three tests so if you bomb one your basically screwed.

This professor really loves what he teaches and he tries to make it really really simple to understand while cracking a few jokes. He always starts on the dot and usually goes till the last second of class. The tests are basically the study guide but make sure to pay attention in class. He's a nice guy just do not text in class or come late.

One of the best professors I've ever had at Misericordia! He is absolutely hysterical and also is a great teacher. You will need to come to class in order to understand what is going on, but he does a review before each test and makes it not too challenging. I loved this class and Touhey knows how to make it interesting and enjoyable.

Classes pass quickly and he explains everything perfectly. Very little work and tests are easy. He makes sure you know everything you need to know for tests. Very straightforward and just wants to see you succeed.

I took Honors Calc in high school and failed. I was then put into Touhey's class and passed with an A+. He over-explains everything, but it is a huge help. His practice tests are exactly like the actual tests. Homework is optional, but it is good practice. He is also hilarious and I would honestly recommend him to anyone.

I had Dr. Touhey for Stat and Calc. I thought he was a better calc professor. For Stats, you have open book, open notes tests which is awesome. Homework is optional but you really should do it because as long as you do the homework, you will do fine in class. He really dumbs things down so if you're bad at math, you should take him and do fine.

As far as calc classes go, his was by far the easiest I ever had. Your entire grade depends on 3 tests, but as long as you pay attention and do his practice tests you will pass easily. The homework is optional which is helpful. The 10 points for participation are handed to you as long as you don't miss a lot of class or make him mad.

Touhey is the best math teacher at Mis. Had him for survey calc, and it's super easy if you just show up to class. He over-explains everything, but it makes it so much easier to understand. Easy tests too. He gives practice tests and just changes the numbers for the actual test. Never opened my textbook, doing homework not required to get an A.

Touhey is a great teacher. He makes sure everyone understands the material but if you don't and go to him he has no problem going over the material. He gives practice tests and study guides and the tests are almost identical to the practice test. Very nice guy, I HIGHLY recommend taking him if you can. Best math teacher at MU.

Pat Touhey is an amazing Math professor. He "dumbs" the material down so that even the hardest concepts appear easy. His random jokes make class interesting. Doesn't take attendance, however, if you do not come to lessons you will not do well. Overall one of my favorite professors.
