This was the most terribly useless class ever. Everything she teaches is horribly biased garbage that you really already know anyways. You'll get a good mark, but the class is a waste of time in which you'll learn absolutely nothing. The entire course is incredibly remedial and it could be easily taught in an eighth of the time.

She was a very nice prof. but the T.A.s marked very hard! The lectures were dry but the text was great. Nonetheless, it wasn't that hard to walk away with a A.

Patricia is a very helpful, understanding, and supportive person and professor. The material was very interesting, texts and videos were selected well, and marking was fair. Her lecture style is not entirely engaging, but it was fine.

Such an understanding prof! The presentation we had to do was fun and be creative! She eats that stuff up (skits, interactive stuff). The essay was a thinker, but not impossible, and fairly graded. TA was awesome, so nice and helpful. A must take class. This class makes you think critically about so much! You can't watch tv after this and enjoy it!

honestly, i don't know why some people say shes easy to understand and her lectures are interesting. She is a very nice prof but her lectures are horrible. Shes constantly mumbling to herself and you can never hear her. If you do hear her, you simply can't get what she's saying, it doesnt seem to make sense. Textbook is brutal. Exam is okay

Dr. Kachuk was very helpful and clear. Her assignment marking and criteria was always reasonable and her course was well structured. The only change I would've made would be to have less repetition of the discussion questions. Otherwise, I'd really enjoy taking a course with her again.
