If she doesn't agree with your opinion you are wrong. She expects way too much out of you & is closed minded for someone who is teaching CONTEMPORARY catholicism.

Took this ONLINE class as a CORE credit, 100 level classes should not be this difficult. I figured an online religion class would be cake and I was WRONG- she is very sweet but expects way 2 much from students. No matter what you say in your responses, it is never deep or religious enough. She truly expects you to rip out your soul or no A for U

HORRRIBLE , she requires way to much reading for each class, requires way to much work in general. If you can avoid taking her class you will be better off. I was taking 15 credits the semester I had her and I was doing more work for her 1 class than I was doing in all of the other 4 classes put together. Long story short, ridiculous class.

Worst teacher i have ever had in my entire life, read 3 articles atleast 2000 words each after every class and a chapter in the textbook. 3 quizzes that require 2 500 word essays each quiz. theres a midterm essay 3 page minimum and for the final you have to read a 500 page book, write a 5 to 7 page paper on it, make a presentation and an oral exam.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to get an A, but there was too much work for a level 100 core class. Didn't let anyone disagree with her, even on opinion questions and it felt like I was being preached to. She didn't seem to have a set place she was getting her information from. I was usually frustrated for most of the classes. I do not recommend.

I am not a religious person and I understood when taking this class that it would be about the history of Christian spirituality however i felt that i sat through a sermon everyday instead of a class. She bases it only on her opinion of religion. I might as well have been sitting in church for free then pay to go to this "class". A waist of my time

From a Christian/Catholic perspective she has no idea what the gospel is. She believes in a universalist religion meaning all people go to heaven. Then what is the meaning of Jesus? If you're a seeker and wanting to know more about Christianity,take Jesus the Christ. You'll have a better understanding of God from that class rather than this class

She is a nice lady. Extremely passionate about what she teaches. Do 4 out of 6 reaction papers. At the end, you do a panel presentation with a group in front of the class. We hardly used the txt book. We had to print a lot of articles off of the computer. If you like talking and you're very interested, then you will enjoy the class.

I thought she was great. She only asks you to read and search for the truth. She has 6 papers and you have to write 4, easy as anything if you listen in class. Just remember the phrase "self gift" and get to know it as well. She is honestly the best person to teach this class has passion, knowledge, she is reasonable if you don't pull her chain. A+

She had us read about 3 or 4 articles for EACH class and the articles were long, boring, and difficult to understand. I struggled in this class, having 3 other classes to read for, and I eventually stopped going. She's insightful and thought provoking, I'll give her that, but she does often sound like she's preaching. I dont recommend her at all.
