Decent professor. Can get really boring to listen to, and people stop showing up to his classes. However, if you go to his office hours to clarify stuff, he explains well. Grades only through tests. Legend has it that "There's no failin' Bailyn," but it's not the same thing as an easy A as he doesn't curve if you err, so studying is important.

Bailyn is one of the most amazing people I have ever had in my academic career. He is the most selfless, generous, and caring human being I have ever met and knows how to teach well to boot. I suggest going to his office hours as much as possible; they are enlightening and will really help you understand the material.

I can't say enough nice things about this man. Ranks as one of the best teachers I've ever had. EXTREMELY helpful. Will make himself available during office hours and is very patient and understanding. Don't underestimate him though. Will most definitely try to avoid giving bad grades, but at the end of the day you get what you earn. TAKE HIM

Bailyn is extremely helpful to his students and knows the topics extremely well. He is by far one of the best math professors at Cooper. He grades very fairly, and his tests are very much like the homework. Do the homework and show up for class for an A.

BEST professor at cooper, best combinations. Very nice and helpful. very approachable. nice guy who cares about all his students and wants everyone to get an A and learn the material at the same time. SO he makes the exams very easy but you still have to do the work tho the work is minimal. He really teaches well so you DO learn calculus!

He is absolutely the best. I had him for Calc 1 and 2 and loved him, but love him even more because he has no problem with helping me even with upper level math classes when i go to his office hours. Hands down, the nicest professor at cooper.

you may not fail but it's not a guaranteed A. sounds much less intelligent than he really is. very happy all time and excited about math. it's just the way he talks makes him sound stupid. 4-question tests means you ace it or blow it, not much in between. always teaches the dumber half of the grade.
