This guy is SO SLOW in his lectures. If making you sleep in class was an award, he would win first place. Tests are not that easy. Yeah, I agree he loves the subject, but he was never able to make the class interesting whatsoever!

He is the nicest person,and passionate about teaching.He did not have to put much effort into this class because he was retiring,and this was his last semester, but he put a lot of effort into making sure everyone understood the subject.This really showed his commitment. I wish other teachers could learn from him.

The nicest professor ever! He is so easy. Study the slides and you will do fine. You get a cheat sheet for each test. The group project is 3 pgs and it's so easy. Other prof. used the book and covered every ch, not this prof. He keeps to his slides and covers like 5 chpts a semester.

SLOOWWWW... class. UGH. OK test. 1 mid term. 1 final. not cummulative. do not need the book. 3 page project. you get a cheat cheat. just put everything on the slides on the cheat cheat. dont buy the book. ok class. just borring. teacher trys. but not funny.

baum is a good professor. somtimes the class was slow and not engaging, but he makes sure you understand. he tries to make jokes and stuff which helps. SOM isnt that hard, sort of like management w/ some a little bit of math. group project was easy, only a few pages. you get notes during the test, not that hard. he curves too. great A+

Oy! So slow! He gets the point across, but just in case you missed it, he gets it across again. And again. And again. I wanted to chuck my pencil at him and scream "MOVE ON!!" But that singular frustration aside... he was good, clear, and I felt his tests covered the material from class. Don't buy the book--just get together with someone for HW.

SOM 306 WELL THIS GUY IS AWESOME.. VERY GOOD AT CURVING HE IS GREAT..... ALLOWS 1 PAGE OF CHEAT SHEET AND JUST COPY AND PASTE THE POWER POINT SLIDES AND YOU WILL DO FINE.....THERE ARE 2 GROUP ASSIGNMENTS AND NOT A BIGGY....TAKE HIM YOU DO GOOD....

Easy, but BORING! He gives the answers to all homework, & to ace the 2 tests you just copy/paste the powerpoints onto a cheat sheet. Super nice guy, & very well meaning, but he can drive you nuts when he goes off on tangents during his lectures. Powerpoints are horribly misspelled, & about 1 email a week goes out correcting wrong info on website.

Great teacher! Def. recommend him. He gives u the answer to all the hw AND it's not due till the final. Only two group projects (both are only 2 pg papers) with extra credit assignment. Midterm and final allow page of notes front and back.For tests, make sure you study his PPT notes, for specific companies and their philosophies.VERY EASY and NICE!

Prof Baum is a funny, well educated teacher and speaker. Class consisted of a mid-term , final, 2 papers and some homework that was due at the end of the semester. For the exams, he allows a one-page (both sides) reference sheet. I found him to be a GREAT professor for a topic that I really wasn't too interested in. I would highly recommend him!

Mr.Baum is a great professor, he is very organized, and tries to help the students out as much as he can. His midterms are hard, but he lets his students have one page front and back of notes. And he curves the midterm, so I think everyone has a chance of passing his class.

This class moved incredibly slow -- only covered 5.5 chapters in the book all semester. The 2 team cases were okay but the midterm was tough. If you don't want to learn much about management, take him.
