A magnificent ****. Tells the best stories and has a wonderful sense of humour. A wealth of knowledge in program evaluation and criminal behaviour; his classes combine a deep understanding of the subject matter and a lifetime of experience. Every minute of this class was enjoyable.

Amazing prof, knows his stuff. Scary at first but you grow to love him. Has great stories and doesn't hesitate to tell them. You can ask him anything and he'll tell you. I'm sorry he's retired, he's legendary. I'm glad I learned from the best. He's the best prof with the worst reputation.

Hard class, actually have to take it again for credit for my minor. Does care, One class was during a blizzard and there were no taxis or buses after class and he offered a student a drive home who otherwise would have been stuck.

Great prof. Funny! Hard tests...really hard tests. Class average on the first midterm when I took the class was a 50%. But, I really enjoyed him. PS, everything bad you hear about him is true, and he'd tell you that himself.

Too many lazy people complain about getting bad marks from this man. If you are at university do the damn work and quit whining. He is a wealth of knowledge and though he does tend take a few too many asides and schmoozes a bit, he has been in the field doing this research and knows it inside out.
