Very enthusiastic, but it's hard to stay awake during his lectures. Can be dry and loves to go off on tangents, but he's a great guy and genuinely warm person. Most of my learning got done during the labs, which are time-consuming but helpful, and by reading the notes, which are very good. Tests are hard and require more studying than average.

Nice guy. Very monotone in class. If you ask him a question in his office he is more than happy to help you with EVERYTHING. He is a fairly hard marker and expects a lto from his students.

Dr. Gillard is a very nice guy and very friendly. Very approachable and always answers questions very throughly. He leans on the verbose side, but in a hard course you need everything clear. Assignments and tests are hard so practice a lot beforehand.

I have come close to falling asleep during paul's class.. however, he puts his notes online which are extremely helpful & very clear, if you ever have a problem with an assignment, he'll be more then willing to guide you during his office hours. Paul brightens up my day, and i enjoy his class. btw, he loves cats.

Paul is very helpful, and always willing to chat about anything related to course material or his various applications of his electronics skills to his hobbies. Gets a bit long-winded in lecture, but if you can stay awake you'll find he's actually explaining things rather clearly, it's just in a sleep-inducing manner for a 9 AM class ;)

Worst prof in Comp Sci dept. Ashoke and Rod are better. Avoid Gillard at all costs. He can only read from his stupid slides. Cannot teach.
