Overall, I really enjoyed this class. I'm surprised some people found it difficult. I thought all of the material was pretty easy, so as long as you go to lecture you'll be fine. PJ is a pretty cool guy, but kind of awkward at the same time.

He teaches introduction to statistics for POLS and Psy. He's awful! The slides, textbooks, and lectures are intentionally confusing. He believes student should "self" teach the material (dumbest idea ever for statistics). He should be denied tenure.

This class was actually a lot harder than I imagined. The tests definitely have several different concepts that you have to understand to pass. But this class is really fun and PJ gives out extra credit quizzes sometimes so it's not that bad.

He's a funny guy, but he does not explain things very well. He thinks that you should already know the concept before you get into his class and he skims over little details that are important for the tests. Tests are very hard and confusing.

This was one of my hardest classes the semester. He is highly entertaining, but the tests are pretty difficult. The first class average was in the 60's. Just make sure to go to lectures and understand the terms and bolded words in the textbook.

This was his 1st time teaching this MBA/PhD level statistics course. He encountered some problems (mainly a very poor textbook), but overcame that with an good set of presentations w/ corresponding notes and sample problems. Hard course, but I learned most of what I need to know going forward. Good sense of humor/built good relationship w/class.

I wasn't crazy about PJ at first, but he really is a pretty cool guy. Everything you need to know is in the book. Go to class because he sometimes gives extra credit! His test are pretty hard, but the most important one is the final, which he made really easy on my class so good luck!

I honestly don't see how anyone thinks this guy is a good teacher. I really think that he goes online and writes reviews about himself. His study guides are worthless; I studied for this test for three weeks and still made a C. I even went to ask him for help... bad idea. If you care about your GPA, avoid this class at all cost.

Funny guy, but a horrible teacher. Tests are extremely difficult and the study guides given out seem to have zero effect on how well you do on the test. Class average on Test #1 was a 52%... My friend in the class did the study guide and got a lesser grade than i did and i did not do the study guide on test #2.. Difficult class

He is an awful teacher. He doesn't care about the students at all and he makes tests extremely hard just because he is a jerk. Everyone in my class got less than a 60 on the first test because he refused to give us a study guide. Don't take his class.
