I don't know why everyone is so hard on Dr. Jones he is a good professor, he just doesn't like it when students are lazy! He will get one your back if you are late, you doze off, or if your phone rings during class. But he undertstands and appears to enjoy teaching for the Organic Chemistry lab.

Dr. Jones ABHORS slackers. If you are one, don't bother. If you really put forth effort you will learn so much. He's hard starting to rid class of laziness, then becomes a passionate, helpful teacher. Talk to him, don't be afraid. It will be your biggest mistake if you don't. This class will teach you what it means to work for success.

Everyone always complains about this class, but honestly if you are dedicated to doing well in this class you'll be fine. He weeds out the wimps in the beginning so they don't waste their time looking for an easy A.

i took his organic lab and i HATED it. it was terrible and very hard. he required a lot of pre-lab and post-lab questions for a fairly simple lab and didn't explain to us how to do it. just explained the reactions and no one knew what he was talking about
