I took the spec mind travel course with him, and Dr. Kemeny is an amazing man. He is kind, caring, brilliant, and fun. His sense of humor is very sarcastic. Every minute of interaction with him was awesome. He grades fairly, but kind of hard, and he expects at least some dedication to the class.

Excellent professor who does a great job explaining the whole picture, not just decontextualized facts. If you can adjust to his lecture style and personality, you'll do fine in the class. Personally, I felt the homework was extremely doable as well. Tests are fair.

Very funny professor, easy to talk to in his office hours, but VERY hard. gives out a lot of primary reading sources with questions and no matter how well you understand them, you will never get better than an 8/10. he thinks of a C as average, so he expects most people to receive a C

At the beginning of class I wasn't sure if I would like the class - Kemeny seemed a little aloof but after going to office hours and getting used to class he really warmed up. Can be very friendly and willing to help. He really want to help students do well in class, as long as they are willing to work.

Kemeny can be either loved or hated by students. I personally, really liked him as a professor. His lectures are boring and he may be very stuck up, however I enjoyed his humor and overall class. He is a professor who is easy to joke around with and talk to.

Dr. Kemeny was confusing to me most of the semester. He's a bit of a show off, but still a super nice guy. He really intimidated me, but whenI went to his office for my paper, he was so helpful and kind. And the class is really interesting and worthwhile. If you don't like him at first, wait. He takes time to get used to.

One of my least favorite classes...but he's one of the best HUMA professors to have if your beliefs don't line right up with GCC's. He never made me feel uncomfortable or stupid for thinking differently than everyone else, he let me explain my beliefs in class, and he never told me I was going to hell. Papers graded harshly, though.

Dr. Kemeny was the most brilliant professor I've ever had. I was excited to go to his class every period, and I never wanted to leave. I learned so much, and he was so nice, and was such an easy grader. He is especially great if you take him for intersession. He is so helpful and gives lots of A's. What a Christ-like and admirable man!

I loved this class! Dr. Kemeny was very entertaining and he explained things many times. Online quizzes are fair, and his tests are on exactly what he says their on. He always makes sure you're understanding what he's talking about and explains things multiple times from different perspectives. I wish Dr. Kemeny taught every HUMA class!!

I found Kemeny to be very helpful...he always asked for clarification and questions in class, which was good. He tested you on what he said he was going to...he didn't throw any loops into it. He grades papers difficult, but that makes you a better writer. Good teacher.
