NO WAY. attendance is mandatory for certain. these new reviews are more accurate. stay away from any classes by the instructor. i personally don't think he's very accurate or even very effective as a teacher. he makes so many mistakes and most of them will be at your expense

Stay very very very FARRRRRRRR from this man. He is a joke. Literally subtracts points for every little thing unimaginable (especially if he doesn't mention it and yes his assignments are vague)! Expects you to come into class with 5 YEARS worth of programming experience. One of the worst teachers I've ever experienced.

Explains really well and always answers questions. He asks a lot of questions in class forcing students to pay attention. His homeworks are tough but he will HELP YOU LIKE ALOT during his office and lab hours. (seriously go to his office hours every week and he will help u do any assignment). His exams are done on paper but open book and notes.

Best Professor I Ever Had! He knows his stuff, his class are really difficult but if you work hard you will be good and of course you should know your programming for High level course. Do not blame on him if you took easy professors in other programming course and you do not your programming.

I don't know who these old good comments come from. They were probably before this guy was ready to retire. These new ones are more accurate. He doesn't care. Unless you've been programming since you were 10 and don't need the class, or you don't care about your grade, don't take this man. He takes off points for everything (even if not relevant).

Amazingly helpful. Answers any and all questions within minutes. Always available by email or phone. A pleasure to learn from. I would recommend this professor to anyone. He will go above and beyond to help and never leaves anyone hanging.

Helpful at first, then was tired and irritable bcause of too many questions.Assumes you had prior knowledge of programming in beginners course. Vindictive if pointed out poorly composed test questions/material.Knowledgeable professor-tired of teaching.Should be doing something else not teaching. Deitel book's better but still sucks!

Online class do not believe it was introductory - Professor very confused - Poor communications - getting information of a lesson out of him was near impossible - Professor is rude at times. I will not waste my time and money on a class taught by him.

This course was offered online and this man never taught. The whole course was recycled from a previous professor. Not one of the chapter correlates to the class contents. His exercises are dated and often need correcting. The only slides/presentations available are from a 2000 online class. Nova needs to refund every student in that class ful

I had Professor Kenison for my first computer science course as a freshman when he was teaching in NH. By the time I was a senior, I would take classes that he was teaching despite how difficult the topic may be. Simply the best Professor I've ever had.
