He is awesome!! one of the best professors at Pace. He is truly inspirational and you'll learn a lot. Makes you work on advertising campaigns, which is very helpful because it prepares you for the real word. Love it!

Prof. Kurnit creates a real life experience for all students. It isn't your normal class, be ready for realistic projects and assignments. You learn how to create client ready documents and presentations. He is there to help you when needed, don't be afraid to ask. Listen in class, take notes when he speaks and use your common sense on tests.

He's my favorite marketing professor. His class was easy. Pay attention in class for the Midterm and Final. Presentations are easy. Although they are easy, It's hard to get an A. You have to hit the nail on the head in order to get an A. It's hard to fail though. If you want an A, you're going to have to work for it. Fair grader. Funny and likeable

Ad Team- I wouldn't have a job if I didn't do this. He lets students run this course. It's a ton of hard work, but no tests. Your finished project will be a huge asset to bring on job interviews. He is an amazing mentor, and a lot of fun. You will be treated like an adult, and he will work with you instead of over you. Best experience at Pace.

He is an awesome teacher. His real world experience makes him a useful friend and an overall down-to-earth guy. His class is engaging and never feels too boring. He is passionate, and expects you to take the course seriously. His workload is not overwhelming, but you will have to stay on top of things. I took more from his class than any other.

I enjoyed Kurnit's courses so much that I took every class he offered and actually repeated a class by choice (for no credit the second time around). After being in the Media/Advertising industry for over 4 years, I would highly recommend taking a class with Professor Kurnit. He really prepares you for what the expectation is in our industry. Through hands-on assignments, and real-life experiences, he provides an outlook that no other class i have taken at Pace can beat.

Great enthusiasm that keeps you interested! Many group projects that allow you to be creative and focus on Ad & Promo. Projects are not hard he just likes to see mostly what your Ad's and promos will look like and how they function. Grades fairly and gives great advice. Hard tests but the project grades are more important!!! I learned a lot!

Kurnit is a nice guy and successful businessman. That being said I didn't gain much from Int'l Adv. & Promo. Spent hours on huge group projects that I don't feel were valuable uses of time. Prof. doesn't really lecture, exams come from notes posted on blackboard and an outdated textbook. WAY too strict grader on projects that seemed like busy work.

Kurnit is a great prof, hes funny and very smart, I dont like his focus on McDonalds but i get the point. His tests are wild but what you get from the class is top notch. Lots of group work, you can do it alone but it will suck. Take him you wont regret it.

Paul Kurnit is, without a doubt, the best professor I've had in college. Not only is he extremely passionate in what he does, he continues to find innovative ways of keeping students engaged and hungry to learn. Attendance is mandatory but this will not be an issue because you will want to attend every/any class he is teaching.

Worst professor at Pace! Do not take him if your objective is to learn about international advertising. He gave no details as to what he wanted in projects, and was consequently never satisfied. He used all of the class time to talk about his resume and not about international advertising. WHAT A WASTE!
