AVOID TAKING MIE515. ITS A TRAP!! He never answer your question and *king spin around. He promise you don't need to memorize for midterm, instead the midterm is a PURE 100% memorization game. There are so many concepts and all of them are essays. He is a nice guy, but his exam was not fair at all. At this level, he still want to test memorization!

Arguably the most inspiring prof that I have ever encountered at U of T, along with Benhabib. His teaching is of extreme clarity with very demonstrative and interesting examples. Labs are a little long but very fun! I feel that I learned a lot from him after one semester. Thank you, Paul! You are an asset to U of T and engineering as a whole!

MIE448 - He's been the best prof I've ever seen so far. His explanation are very clear and deep. The movies he plays during teh class are very interesting and helpful. The textbook was the only textbook I've ever enjoyed reading even when for the exams.
