Comment:
Based on hearing about all the other 495 profs, Mudde seems like the best. My 1 recommendation would be to read the textbook before lectures. It was confusing bc he would jump into topics assuming we know the background. At the very least, read the chapters before the exam. It helps a ton. Overall, this was a nice senior year class with little work

Class is 3 test (essay/multiple choice), online HW (graded on effort), attendance, participation, and extra credit. If you complete all the work and get a C on every test you should get a B in the class with the other points added in. no one in the class got a lower grade than a C, he showed us the breakdown.

Mudde is the easy way out when it comes to MGT 495 professors. The course is based on three exams (optional final), with content derived from lectures and case study assignments. While the tests are somewhat challenging, the class is overall very easy and laid back compared to some others I've heard about. Definitely get his section if you can!

By far the best professor to take for MGT 495. His tests can be challenging, but if you take notes during lectures and study, you will do great! Lectures can get boring, but he offers extra credit. Easy class overall!

It was a fine class given that I took it in the summer but the class is based off of three tests and participation/attendance. Exams are hard, and don't let him fool you with a take home final because he grades it 10x harder than the in class ones. Gives extra credit, 4 page papers. He's fine, but I'd take someone else.

Great professor and also a great choice for a capstone teacher. Class is based off four tests (finals optional) and some weekly readings/discussion questions (not hard/long). He provides a couple opportunities for extra credit (can do in a group)which helps a lot. Sometimes boring but he's knowledgeable and uses current events to keep interesting.

Literally the worst professor I have ever seen. Doesn't know how to teach college kids. Very ignorant and talks about his consulting business and how much money he makes. Doesn't teach anything to be honest. Take Yoghi

Great class to take due to no homework and projects. However, there are 4 exams which are pretty difficult. The final exam was optional and he gives group extra credit that goes toward your exam grades. Boring classes but keeps the stress low. Would recommend if you don't like a heavy work load.

Very smart guys, his case study packet that he makes you purchase allows you to dive into real life business matters. He talks to the last second of class. No HW, Papers, Projects so he takes the stress out of your senior year. Test are hard, but other people seemed to do much better than me. Will advise people to take. Go to class and listen.

TAKE HIM! Everyone I have talked to about their CAP class have had to do tons of work and presentation. Not in this class! 3 test and attendance makes up you grade and the test are not bad. Take him, might be boring but easy to get by.

Boring class and impossible to pay attention. The exams are kinda hard, but he grades pretty easy. Not much HW and even the ones he assigns really don't matter. Be ready to be bored the entire class time.

This class is extremely boring and I didn't feel like I learned very much from the lecture. Before exams I would just study from the review sheet and the book and was able to get a decent grade. The grade is based on 4 exams (the 4th is optional) and participation. The class was less demanding than other MGT 495 from what I've heard.

Class is not easy, but he's a fair grader. Generally pleasant in the classroom setting. He never made anyone feel stupid when sharing ideas. There are a lot of long Harvard cases you need to know inside and out for discussion. Three (long) exams & participation make your grade. After hearing about other 495 professors, I would highly recommend him.

Very dull class. Quiz's were lacked any consistency in how he put them together. Some follow the study guides others are specific SMALL examples from the book that he expects you to recall. All in all majority of the class found it impossible to study for quiz's and to feel prepared. Would not recommend.

Paul is a great prof, he knows his stuff but engages at a conceptual level. Hard --but fair. The book is not needed, slides are posted and take good notes and you should be good. Attendance is not needed, however it is recommended via grade. Optional Final is nice!

This class is all work and no play. The book is dull and unnecessary. Prof ranks attendance/particpation 1/4 of the grade and points only given if he likes your answers. Very difficult grader, especialy on the exam and the project. Class work equates to 2 other grad classes. Personally the guy is nice, but not worth it if you can avoid him.

Prof good at getting you to think about critical issues surrounding cases. You will learn the appropriate way to evaluate a problem if you truly listen (he won't come right out and script an answer for you). I would have liked to see more in depth reviews of his applications as a consultant. Book was not necessary.

nice guy but very hard class. difficult concepts to wrap your mind around. thinking outside the box. project not too bad. lots of research work. lots of harvard cases to read; but no case-write-ups to worry about. make sure you contribute during class discussions!
