Comment:

I took this class in 2000, I remember putting in a moderate amount of work, and getting a solid B. As other posters have stated, pronounces "protein" as "pro-tea-in", and also reads off powerpoint lecture. Pretty boring. His syllabus is very comprehensive and outlines every topic in detail, but in reality his class is ho-hum in every respect.

This guys is a jerk. A real tool. I went to him one time to ask questions and he asked if I was a medical student, 'implying that medical students are annoying' He have no clue about biology and pronounces proteins as 'pro-tea-inz'. LOL I thought pro-tea-inz was a new class of protein!! LOL. USELESS PROFESSOR

Super nice man, but he hasn't the ability to convey programming concepts whatsoever. Attending lecture is completely useless. Homeworks not so difficult. Expect to learn everything on your own. Overall, class is a waste of time but an easy A.
