He's a pretty good prof to say the least. He gives very fair midterms, exams and assignments. He even allows you to allocate the marks to certain percentages to maximize your potential mark. The only negative thing is that he talks about a lot of non course material in class for about a half of the course so you have to do everything by yourself

He loves Toyota. His lectures are strong based on their cost model (it is a cost class) his assignments are different because he doesn't give a lot of instruction but he does it on purpose. Midterm and Finals study from the study guide he gives with the textbook. Horrible textbook tons of errors!!

I hated him at first because of his annoying spreadsheet assignments especaially those stupid macros! But after going to him for help he is an extremely caring teacher and also a very nice man! His lectures are hilarious, but im not sure he intends it to be that way... dont really understand the love for japan but all around great teacher!

While the professor almost always ventures off topic it is fairly enjoyable to have a discussion in class with peers. About 65% is having discussions about current events and the rest is teaching. The midterms are easy as long as you do all of the recommended questions. And yes he has very high praise for Toyota and Japan.

He is a great prof. but he makes you responsible for everything you learn. He definitely isn't an easy prof but his elevator pitches will get you ready for the real world. As long as you participate and do the assigned works, you should do fine in this class.

He talks a lot. Some of it is interesting, some is just totally unnecessary. I wish he had covered more of the actual course. But I love how he has lots of ways to get marks, not just on exams. Like he has assignments of all sorts, and little presentations. The marks he gives are fair too. A nice enough guy, but definitely a talker.

His lassons are filled with interesting stories. The assignments are rewarding and useful in the workplace. I now have an interest in managerial accounting. However I still don't know what managerial accounting is!

Can relate almost anything to a real-life example. Whether he makes these examples up or not is not entirely clear. Has fairly had exams, but the classes themselves are pretty interesting. Better than REA garbage class, or financial with the slacker teachers.
