He's one of great profs at Seneca, super nice and funny. He's tough but you can learn a lot of things that prepare you for the real world. He's always willing to sit down and help you one on one with your projects, even your portfolio :)

Prof Shecter may come off as being a difficult teacher, but it is only because he's a passionate one. He sets tough expectations because he is giving us real world expectations. In my experience, I have never seen him be unfair without a reason. If you are motivated, attend class on time and try, he'll do anything he can to help you.

Full of bull, constantly brags about what he does, who he knows, and constantly slams every other prof teaching graphic design at Seneca. He does not actually teach anything, he says one thing and does the opposite. The worst prof ever. To me, the school lost credibility with me after one class with him. Sadly, I was 5th semester already.

Refuses to teach anything useful. Completely full of himself and has something bad say about all of his contemporaries. Petty enough to personally insult and humiliate students he doesn't like. Designing for Social Change class, whatever the code is for that. All the past ratings are rate. He is knowledgeable but very cocky, arrogant, full-of-it and easily side-track. He has really odd process exercises. He gives us advice on how to deal and talk with clients and doesn't even use the advice for himself. Doesnt show respect.

This teacher is great. At first he can be a little overwhelming to take in but he becomes very friendly once he knows you. I've learned soo much from this man and anyone who says otherwise must have gotten on his bad side. Do the work and talk to him and what you could learn is immeasurable. Despite what some people think, he's the Seneca resource.

this is the worst teacher i have had in my very short run at seneca. his ego is way to big. he talks about who he knows, and what he knows on a constant basis. most of the times he is unclear and you get confused easily. but a good thing is he doesn't slam your work.. he makes suggestions but usually likes it (but i've only had one class with him)

Paulie boy claims he's invented everything on the face of the earth. His caligraphy fetish leaves nothing to the imagination. That being said, he's a great teacher and bring a lot to the classroom. Wealth of knowlege if you can get it out of him.
