DO NOT TAKE Com 175 with Soukup while in London, or ever for that matter. Its a ridiculous amount of work, vague instructions, and random grading. Easily the most frustrating class I've taken. Don't waste your time abroad with this class, I promise you'll regret it.

This was the hardest class I have ever taken at SCU & its a COMM class. Do not take if you don't have to or take it with someone else. He is a really nice guy but the class is made WAYYYYY harder than it has to be. Such a hard grader and the lectures and tests don't match up. BEWAREEEEE!!!

Don't take him. I don't care how nice he is, he made Comm 12 living hell. Too much work, never explains the content, his powerpoints are vague and SUCK, and the class is sooooo bring. Save yourselves!

Father Soukup is a very friendly person but please beware...he assigns a LOT of work (more than reasonable for a Comm 12 class), is extremely VAGUE, and EXPLAINS almost NONE of what he expects from your work. He randomly springs a take home midterm that took at least 5 hours to complete after making it seem like no big deal. Nice guy..beware though

Yes I realize its a boring class and subject and LOVE Fr. Soukup in general, but he's super tough for this class and presents it in a dry way. Uses his powerpoint waay too much, sort of reads right off of it.
