Terrible, completely biased marker. Does not explain the reason for a low grade. If he likes you you have a VERY easy term. Participation marks which supposedly counted for 20% is a LIE. Talks wayy too much in class..

the dude hates me. purposely skips me when i raise my hand to participate for marks. cannot justify his reasons for my bad essay marks. never lets the class out on time. talks way too much, we never get anything done.

If you disagree with his interpretations, beware. He requires all students to tow the party line. His taste in poetry (and thus what he teaches ) SUCKS! He has father issues so expect to do almost nothing but poems about fathers. Avoid.

out of all the students i've talked to from this class, (15 or so, half). all of them got 70-80%. He doesn't mark bad and doesn't mark good. Also it's useless to have an opinion contrary to his or he'll burn you on marking, even if well supported.

Nice guy. impossible to get perfect mark on any question on exams. Is an unorthodox poetry teacher who marks with the notion that only 1 answer is correct. He is very lenient however (aka can hand in stuff late) and he marks essays fairly.
