HORRIBLE!!!!! I dont know how his final grades were even allowed to be sent to the university because I think the class average was like a C+!! You won't understand a thing this guy says in class (that is if you can manage to stay awake in the first place)

I had all A's at McGill until I got hit with this class and professor, and no, as others have pointed out, I do not blame myself. Professor Wiseman is super nice and helpful but he is unclear, anxious, and very, very tough. His exams are almost impossible to do well in and even though we brought that matter up, he did nothing to change that. AWFUL

okay he's nice and all, seems like a pretty chill prof at first until he hits you with his exams. they are just plain not doable. there's literally a trick in every single question (and this applies to his quizzes as well), and he gives no chance at all for redemption because of the mark breakdown. avoid!!!!

Paul Wiseman is a nice guy. His class is fine and he teaches it all at a fair standard. The exams are disgusting. Class average for the latest midterm was a C+. No matter how much work you put in, his questions are so ridiculously difficult. He has 5% each multiple choice questions which are so hard to answer and easy to trip up on.

dont understand how in the world this prof has such good reviews, unless he's somehow magically made a 180 degree change in the course of 2 years. he is SO unclear, always nervous when explaining something and turns a concept as simple as a thermodynamic formula into rocket science. i regret taking this class and i really hope his exams aren't hard

Great Prof, I just attended class, took no notes and listened, easy A. Helps that the content is extremely interesting. Assignments are simple plug and chug for the most part and easily doable. RECOMMEND!!!

Very clear, very interesting, very efficient and straight to the point. Guys get him to teach you chem, you won't be disappointed ! his slides are very good, which is very useful during exam revisions.
