Dr. Furr is one of the most amazing professors I have ever had. Classes were fun and we learned a lot! She always helped and answered any question. There were many assignments but I thought that the work load was appropriate for a college upper-level class.If you want to learn something, I highly recommend you to take Dr. Furr's class!

Dr. Furr is tough. She will challenge you and make you work very hard in her class. She definitely knows her stuff, though. If you take her class you will learn a ton of stuff that you'll use in a journalism career. She is the department head and if you are respectful and persistent, she will help you.

Sgt. Furr knows her stuff but is way in over her head (mainly w/ leading the department). Per her military background, I think sometimes she creates to hostile of learning environment, although it is not her intention. She is helpful and at times engaging.

Furr is rude and unhelpful. She has favorites and there are certain students she absolutely goes after. If she's your advisor...look out...she will not help you. Even if you contact her repeatedly...she will not help you finalize things to graduate!!!
