Seeing that we're paying $1000 to take the class, we shouldn't have to get help outside of class to learn the material, but that's what she told us. The only way u can't fail this class is if u go to her office hours and get her to tell you the answers for the test because the test is all memory and she likes to add stuff in that's not in the text.

Dr. Love's classes are demanding and difficult. However, if you are not afraid of the material, they will be useful to you after you graduate. Dr. Love's grading is exacting, either you understand the material or not, but she is fair. Don't be afraid to approach her and ask questions and for help. She really is a wonderful lady.

She is EXTREMELY hard BUT I learned so much in there. I came out of the class knowing so much information, and I am so much more prepared for Graduate School. You have to go to class, and stay on top of things, but I tried my hardest and made an A, so you can do it!

Ex graduate here. Don't take her classes for granted. Psychopharmacology was one of the hardest classes I have ever had, and I am working on my Ph.D. in neuroscience. Excellent prof though, and extremely knowledgeable. Don't be afraid of it, and you will do great. You will learn more psychopharm in that class than you might get in grad school.

Dr. Love is at once the most terrifying person and the best instructor I've ever met. I learned a lot during her classes, and am confident that I will be a worthy professional for having taken them. She is the most available professor that I've ever had. Classes are very difficult, but she is making confident and well informed therapists.

Dr. Love was the most difficult professor I have ever had. likely the worst as well. I had a GPA of 3.5 when I started that class and I failed it. She is unhelpful and rude. She rolled her eyes at people when they asked too many questions and refused to give the class the extra credit we had worked for. Told us we were the worst class she ever had.

This class should come with a warning lable. It is extremely hard. All essay tests, a lot of memorization. The material is complicated and there is a lot to cover. Most people fail her test,but she gives a curve.(The last test I took everyone failed except for one person). She is a very intelligent woman and she lectures that way, she really doesn'

Great teacher, extremely difficult and challenging, very hard to impress, but when you do, its a lot easier, extremely nice,sweet lady, just come to pass and study for long term memory and you will get an A, I am halfway through her class and i made the 3rd highest grade which was a 66, but curved to a B++, very fair and funny, have fun with her, y

I took her for Physio Psych & had to drop it. I studied so hard the slides she used (which were from the book CD) & did the practices, but made 50s on the 2 tests I took. I hope your minor is Chemistry cause she doesn't explain it any more than the CD did. I took it again the next semester w/ Schrieber & half of that class was taking it again too!

The class was very informative. I learned alot, and actually enjoyed it. The test are very hard, but not impossible. Start studying as soon as she hands out the slides. There is alot to know. Worth the money though.

Dr. Love is an amazing professor. She taught me enough to be able to hold me own in any discussion about psyc drugs, even with doctors. She expects a lot, but she is so helpful and makes you work hard and be proud of your grade. Be prepared to study HARD!
