This class is an easy A. Her online quizzes are really simple, you don't even have to read, just keep the book handy. She can be kind of moody sometimes but overall she's alright. The activities are fun and you do have to perform in front of the class a few times.

Man I would have failed but she saved me. Attend class - a must. Met with me privately, made sure I got to stay in school. Terrific. Class is activity oriented - gotta read outside, see plays, perform your own play. Made friends - can't say that about any large class. I say take it -unless you don't want to stay home and not attend classes

She wrote me a letter of recommendation (I think some others too) but without that letter I would not have made it into film studies. SWEET Like writing script, meeting with her in office with group and good discussion about theme and shaping the play Just know you have to go to class, read, participate in activities

She made me laugh. I think I've become a theatre geek. She emailed us weekly. Grades on blackboard and so are the quizzes. You do have to pay attention to the calendar that is with the syllabus. Kind'a keep it posted somewhere. We learned how to write and we performed 10 minute plays. It is very introductory and grades are by points you coll

Funny. Didn't go over book in class - that was great - we did exercises or activities that were about the book much better. Toured theater, saw shows, wrote papers, did a performance which we wrote ourselves - make sure you get a good group of people to work with.

the bitter person, won't help very much or at all. Quizzes are woth more than anything else, but they are in useless formates (like crosswords!WTF?)in a nutshell:I spent the most money on this class this semester, I put in the most time, and I got the worst grade out of all my classes. biggest waste of time EVER, if your doing this for GE DON'T

Paula is the stupidest most unorganized professor i've had to date. she is incredibly rude to anyone who isnt a theatre major of some sort and she will yell and glare at you for "talking" even when you're clearly not. just avoid this class if you aren't required to take it.

really fun. She's very knowlegeable but hates slackers. you do have to do some performing but it's not hard and watching everyone perform is really entertaining. be careful who you pick for your group projects it sucks if you get stuck doing all the work. Take good notes and study for the quizzes and tests they make up a lot of your grade.

horrible teacher, and incoherent when attempting to explain anything. ?Rude at times and very impatient with everyone. class was enjoyable because of other kids, but i suggest getting the other teacher.

Easy class, but super boring. Used the book alot. Take notes during the lectures! She gives a review which has all of the questions for the midterm/final. 4-5 group projects like small useless skits. Get to know the TA because they are probably better at listening to you than she is. She's kinda rude at times.

This class is fairly easy. there are a few group projects. she tells you exactly what to go over for the tests so you know what to study. she is judgemental though. she sits in the back of the class during presentations and will make little smart remarks under her breath about the students or their performance. supposedly youre not being "judged".

Quizzes include acting in skits in addition to multiple choice quizzes. A project involving group members and an 8-10min skit. 3 play reviews and a final. All of that equals your grade. I felt like this class lacked substance. Performed lots of skits. Not very many lectures. Not a hard class but you may not be happy w/going but do go.

she refused to help me after class and I asked her if there would be any quizzes I would miss cuz I went home for break and she lied about it... nothing was explained well and you read an entire ch. only to have a five question pointless quizz. The people were fun, but if there was a different teacher the class would have been so much better.

she was alright, but her quizzes were hard, even if you did the reading. Pop quizzes a lot, and on the last day she reviews most of the final so its a good idea to go.
