She never gives partial credit. She spends most of class lecturing and doesn't spare a lot of time for questions. If you can take Calc I with another teacher, I would recommend doing so.

Professor Russo is an extremely tough grader. She often comes late to class. Though she is organized, she is a bad professor. Her lectures are boring, and hard to learn from. She is rarely available after class. I would never take any of her classes again.

Prof. Russo is a nice lady, if somewhat detached from the class. When she teaches, she is clear (except for sometimes mixing up variable letters), but she doesn't give much feedback on the material. All work is graded by TAs or by the online system, WebWork. There's often technical errors in class or on WebWork. Do homework with a tutor at MECC.

Overall, this class was ridiculous; we had no book to follow and Russo's teaching was difficult to comprehend. All math was done of the computer which was hard to follow. She, however, is a very nice lady, always ready to meet; but the meetings seldom help. I consider myself to be above average in math and this class was so difficult for me.

Explains things to a fault. Goes over the same material over and over again. Hard to pay attention, and is not that helpful. Rarely shows up, or puts up stuff when she says she will. But she does stay after to answer any questions. Must be a self motivated person to take her class.

Plain and simple - assigns WAY TOO MUCH WORK, so much so that you can't do a half decent job on it. Lectures aren't particularly useful, and if she decides to show up for the few office hours she schedules, she's not too helpful there either. Will NEVER take another course with her.

One of the clearest professors at Trinity. I'd take any math class with her. The kids who did poorly never came to class. Just go to every class and try some problems in the book and you'll do great. It's pretty easy and she gives you every opportunity to do well.
