Tinsley is such a nice lady! Her teaching style is a little spacey, and she doesn't explain anything. She just throws you into it. I got a B overall. I have sewn before too! She grades very harsh for an into sewing class but it is easy and fun. Pay attention to detail in her class and you will get an A!

CTM180 isn't too hard, but if you haven't sewn before it can be frustrating. Mrs. Tinsley is VERY long winded, and sometimes a little airheaded, but she's very nice and willing to help you.

She is very nice, but VERY BORING. take a caffine shot before you come. She reads from PPTs and goes way too fast through them. they are not on blackboard either. A few outside projects and assignments. tests are MC and TF and are 100 questions.

Peggy is a very nice lady. I do think she grades a little too harsh for a beginning sewing class. I am a merchandising major and am required to take this class. This class was also very long and boring ! It was also frustrating at times. She did bumb my final grade up. I like peggy as a teacher, I just hate sewing !

this teacher is BAD. She FLIES through the notes (when shes going over them) and goes off on really long tangents when she isn't. she provides NO study guide for her tests (just a sheet of paper that says read your book more or less). I asked her if I could have a copy of her notes (to verify mine are complete) she said NO. Avoid if possible!!!

This class was not hard. The assignments are pretty easy and the tests are as well. As long as you do a little studying for the tests (skimming the reading and looking over the notes help alot) it is not bad. She tends to talk alot, but she knows her stuff. Overall a good teacher.

Very nice lady, however she is very unfair. On group projects it doesn't matter how much work each group member does the person who does the most can get a worse grade than the people who didn't do anything. Very boring class.

This class got very boring. Her outline is on an overhead - half the time she'd forget to move the paper that was covering the outline. She grades extremely hard on format (APA style) of the reaction papers and Diet Analysis. Nice lady, but didn't seem concerned if we learned or not-just format!

This was such an easy and very informative class. the statements made below were obviously made by someone who can't read and just likes to complain! this class was SO EASY!! Peggy Tinsley is a very nice lady and she really knows a lot about nutrition. Take this class you will learn a lot!

She requires way too much information on each exam. She also critiques papers too harshly and counts off huge amounts of points for not following her already unclear directions. Be prepared for the exams, five papers, a group presentation and a diet analysis.
