I just googled Pero to see if he was still teaching - its been 6 years since I took his class. My younger brother needed a history class to take and i told him that if you want to actually take something away from a class, work with Pero! He was the best!

The BEST professor I've ever had at MSU. Kept me interested and excited to go to class. He's a phenomenal speaker and definitely knows his stuff! He relates to the students and can talk you to death about African American history! Highly recommended, even if it's not required for your major, it wasn't for mine.
