Math Logic 1 is so-so (kinda boring). Math Logic 2 is FANTASTIC, though. Take 600 over 300; it's not much extra work, and you get grad credit instead. Most importantly, though, stay through 300 or 600 and take Math Logic 2, which is one of the best courses in the math department.

Prof Andrews was thorough, kind of dull, but I appreciated his facility and readiness to teach a bunch of lowly first year grad students back in 1974.

Really boring class, the material isn't all that interesting either. He's thorough in covering the book. Just learn the theorems for the tests, and hope you have a good TA to help you out. HW usually counts for a lot and tests are generally easier than HW
