Professor Henry, while he took a shine to me (see above re class favourites) managed to turn one of my favourite topics into a chaotic mess, while also screwing up the marks of myself and 10 other students by forgetting to put our Grades in before final grades were due. As such, at first i received a 'D' when after including all grades I got an A+.

I'm kind of at a loss for words when it comes to explaining Peter. His lectures make no sense (Exhibit A: Slides of Kim Kardashian are mixed into a presentation about a farm). He doesn't really seem to know what he wants when it comes to projects. Some classes inspire me, while others make a career in architecture sound terrifyingly confusing. Idk.

This professor needs to be removed from the Dalhousie Architecture Department. He is awful as a professor and I received an 98 in the course and still say it is awful. Assignments are useless and give no knowledge of what architecture really is. You will do no models, dimensioning, studio time etc. Projects loosely express the design process.

He should not be teaching the ARCH 1000 class. I think he is doing a disservice to Dalhousie School of Architecture by scaring andor turning off potential students from architecture and from applying to the BEDS program. His "class" is a poor representation of the profession.

Waste of time. Had very little respect for students or the class. Lectured and marked based on personal opinionpreference (showed his work in lectures). Did not cover basic architecture principals. I booked a meeting regarding unexpectedly low final project mark, he literally admitted to running out of time and giving Bs to all remaining students.

Least favourite class I've taken yet. P. Henry is borderline rude when giving "feedback" if he doesn't like your project. Marks only on his personal opinion/style. Instructions are very unclear. Horribly boring tedious lectures. Do not take this class.

Absolutely useless prof. Assignments have nothing to do with Architecture, and he does little to inspire students. He is vague and frankly, rude. You could get outstanding feedback from classmates on an assignment, but still score a B-. There's no rhyme or method to anything.

Peter Henry is a fine example of a pretentious modern-day architect that preaches how great and creative he is, although only completes 2 or 3 real jobs a year. His view of architecture differs completely from the real working world, and you wont learn anything about real architecture. His ARCH1000 class is more like a grade 5 art class.

I'm sure 99% of the people here that rated him negatively are just butthurt he didn't give them a good mark for projects they put no emotion or thought into. oh peter henry! the class was a waste of time! showed us slideshows of his travels around the world....or..mailboxes in nova scotia. attended all the classes in the fall, missed 90% in the winter, just give ur friends ur sketch and 6 words! the assignments were cool tho..he just marks them according to his opinion
