Took VB. Nice guy, interesting to talk to about current events. Basically a DIY work -at-your-own-pace course. Classmates were EXTREMELY helpful when problems cropped up. Sit next to a computer wiz in class!! Else you'll be very frustrated. VB comments below are right on the mark. Left early each class "so janitor could clean." Easy A, no tests.

I am in my first of many classes with Peter. He is probably the most interesting teacher I've had, and although I do not have to stay for the full 3 hours because he does not penalize for leaving early IF you feel comfortable with the material, I find myself glued to the seat as long as he is talking. He knows his stuff and enjoys teaching it.

I had Visual BAsic with Peter , He would help some others but he would not answer my questions , he said to me read the book , ok He made me mad and frustaighted that I ended up withdrawing this course , I was fed up with the Computer Science dept that I ended up changing degrees

Good guy, but NOT A TEACHER. Don't take his VB course if you are looking for an "introduction to Visual Basic" course. He only is interested in students with previous programming knowledge, and will not explain stuff to the unknowing (his ONLY answer in class: "you must have entered bad data."
