I love his teaching style! Hes clear on what to study for the midterms; do your assignments, practice problems, study the material you went over in class. Always helps and answers questions. However, hes a tough grader...

His lectures are clear enough to understand since he goes over the exercises from the textbook. The assignments are based on lecture. However, his midterms and exams are tough. Overall, you should be able to prepare for his midterms by reviewing the exercises and do well in his class. Great prof! I would recommend.

Peter is a solid choice and gives lots of great information if you are pursuing accounting as a career. Class is tough but just do the practice questions and you should be good.

Intermediate Accounting 2 is not an easy course, but Peter is the best prof to take it with. Very fair/generous marker. Clear on what is expected on the midterms + the final. Homework assignments are easy to do. He's super helpful in office hours.

Peter is a good teacher he knows what he is talking about, but I found his lectures confusing and kinda felt lost at times. His exams are pretty tough you must know the material inside and out, more of how things work not just how to do them.

Peter is one of the best professors at Langara. He really cares for his students and is willing to take time and go over material you don't understand. The point of going over exercises every class is to have you practice questions that are going to be on the exam. Students can read theory and examples on their own time. You learn best by doing.

I had him for Financial Accounting and this guy can teach! I see so many comments about him going over examples all class but that's how you learn accting. The course itself is difficult so read the chapters on your own before his lesson to understand theoryconcept and then in class when he goes over examples you learn how to apply those concepts

Do not recommend Peter for students who prefer to know why. He spend little time explain theories and 90% of class time doing exercises in the textbook. What's the difference between study on your own and having an instructor if he just doing exercises and not explaining theories?

Sometimes Peter's lectures are a little unclear (and his writing can be very messy) but if you ask questions he will do his best to clarify things for you. You definitely need to do the practice questions from the text, but if you can do those then you will be fine on his exams. Also, he is very helpful outside of class. I would take him again.

He is very easy going and he always says everything's straight forward. As long as you put in the time to study, he won't throw you curve balls and you will get what you worked for. However, his office hours are not very consistent so double check with him first if you plan on going.

I don't like his teaching method. You have to go through text first to understand what he's talking about. Workload is heavy. Exams are hard(dunno is the material or his exam hard?) Work very hard to get a good grade.

To some he may seem like he's drawling his lectures but what he says is pretty straightforward. As long as you complete all the assignments, pass the mid terms, you will be fine, but finals carries a very heavy weight. He is very helpful, and just make sure you read the textbook and attend review classes for last minute content changes.

Took Managerial accounting with Peter. He was extremely interesting, giving great examples and allowing us to practice during class time. I had no initial interest in the topic, however he made it so interesting I am planning to pursue managerial accounting. Have to work hard in his class, but it is fair!

Great teacher. He's very helpful. This is one of the only classes where I walked into the exam and felt class had really prepared me for the test. Not everyone seems to like his teaching style, but he's been the best prof I've had.

IF you go to class, read, do your hw, you will get at least a C+. If you're one of those "I don't read the book, and skip a lot types" you're screwed. He's helpful when you ask for help and generous/ encouraging when he sees the effort you put in.
